Welcome to the Halifax Swimming Club Website.

Halifax Swimming Club was founded in 1864 and is one of the oldest swimming clubs in the country, in 2014 we will be celebrating our 150th Anniversary so have set up a dedicated site to communicate information about the celebrations. Please check out the dedicated site.

Halifax Swimming Club's aim is to encourage and promote the teaching and coaching of competitive aquatic sports.

The main club night is Thursday with assessments on new swimmers carried out between 7:15pm and 7:45pm. We are open 48 weeks of the year, we close  for two weeks in august and two weeks over the Christmas period when the pool is closed.
