Halifax Swimming Club

To join the club, you will need to undergo an assessment of your swimming ability.

The main club night is Thursday with assessments on new swimmers carried out between 7:15pm and 7:45pm.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will get back to you with a date for the assessment. Please download and print off the Application for Membership Form and bring with you to your assessment.

After your assessment  you will be allocated to a group, and as soon as there is a place available you will be informed. This may be straight away or you may be placed on a waiting list

We are open 50 weeks of the year and only close over the Christmas period when the pool is closed.

Membership fees, which include some ASA registration fees, are payable in January each year . Category 2 swimmers need to pay their own ASA fees together with the membership fee. Swimming/Coaching fees are collected in advance every 10 weeks. More details about the Fees can be found here.
