Yorkshire winter Meet
Details are now on the website. All entries must be given to Ros before August 19th.

Bradford Dolphins/ Northolt Invitation Meet
This meet will be an exciting teams gala, similar to our own and will take place at Aireborough Pool on 24th September, warm
up 4.15p.m. Gareth and Ros will be looking for available swimmers after the summer break.

City of Bradford End of Season Meet
Well done to all the swimmers who attended this meet. Almost all who attended gained at least one medal as well as PBs. Matthew Bottomley and Matthew Greidanus achieved Yorkshire times.

Summer Closure
The club will be closed for the first two weeks in August and will reopen for training on Monday 15th August.

Fees
Fees are now due for the month of August. For people new to the club, fees due for the whole year are collected over eleven months. There are no training fees due in December, but we do ask you to pay membership fees for the next year at this time.

Please make sure your fees are up to date before the gala on 25th August. Only those who are fully paid up will be able to swim. There are still some outstanding fees from June!

Football Card
The latest winner in the football card competition is Mrs Somers.

The table
The welcome table is now back in its original place in reception, but we are asked to consider providing healthier options. I will be investigating at the wholesalers during the break. Any ideas will be welcome. Selling sweets does make valuable income for the club.

Committee Meeting
The next committee meeting is on 15th August.
If you have any points for discussion please let me know as soon as possible.

Observer chairs.
I have been asked by a parent to urge everyone to take a turn with this important role in the club. The same person has been seen by another parent sitting in a chair for at least six weeks. How fair is that? Not my words!

Many, many thanks to the few who do think about the safety of your children.

Engraving trophies
The club is responsible for paying for the engraving of club trophies which are presented at Presentation Evening. We also pay for any team trophies won at outside galas.
Unfortunately we are not able to pay for individual trophies won at other galas. Club and team trophies should be taken to Briggs Priestley in Halifax.

Gala 5
Entries for gala 5 should be made by Thursday 15th September.
