Raine takes Silver at Yorkshires

Andrew Raine, swimming in the 17/over boys in the 100m fly, won the Silver medal in a time of 57.32, a new personal best. Raine wasn't the only Halifax finalist over this and last weekend. Swimmers taking home finalist pennants so far include:

 

Gina Speakman, 14, 4th place, 100m free, 1:01.38

                              9th place, 200m free, 2:15.90

 

Tom Sandford, 15, 200m breast, 7th place, 2:45.48

                           100 breast, 5th place, 1:13.11

 

Charlie Kershaw, 16, 100 breast, 8th place, 1:13.85

 

Lewis Wainwright, 16, 100m fly, 5th place, 1:03.00

                                200m fly, 10th place, 2:33.63

                                100m free, 9th place, 1:01.83

 

Matthew Greidanus, 17/over, 100 breast, 4th place, 1:06.35

                                          200 breast, 5th place, 2:26.68

                                          200 IM, 8th place, 2:18.64

 

Robbie Abbott, swimming in the 16 boys 100 fly, also qualified for the final.
