Timekeeper
Timekeepers are a vital part of helping the club deliver galas and events. The role of timekeepers is to accurately determine the time taken by each swimmer in the event as the formal measure of the swimmers' performance. Final placement of the swimmers in each event is determined by their times and finish order. Therefore, precision and accuracy are important for timekeepers. Timekeepers work in collaboration with the Chief Timekeeper and the Recorder to record times at licensed meets.
Team Manager
Team Managers are roles which are absolutely fundamental to our ability to successfully run domestic and international competition meets, galas and swim camps. Team Managers and have a high degree of influence and responsibility for the arrangements, and are responsible for the administration and coordination of the event, making arrangements for travel, itineraries and accommodation. They also have an essential role in fundraising and organisation to help us put on the event. Team Managers provide swimmers with pastoral care and support if needed while away from home. They are the central point of contact for swimmers and parents, and are responsible for health and safety, safeguarding and wellbeing of our swimmers throughout the event.
Chief Timekeeper
The Chief Timekeeper is responsible for ensuring that the Timekeepers perform their duties correctly. They ensure the timekeepers have the necessary equipment to perform their duties and have overall responsibility for Timekeepers throughout the gala.
